About the role
Pearson Plc is seeking a qualified teacher to work as a GCSE Citizenship Studies Examiner (2016 Specification). The role involves marking candidates' responses using the ePEN system from home, ensuring consistency with the official mark scheme.
Key responsibilities
- Mark GCSE Citizenship Studies scripts accurately and consistently.
- Submit marking samples to the Team Leader by designated deadlines.
- Adhere to all marking milestones and administrative requirements.
- Complete required training between May and June.
Required profile
- At least one academic year of teaching experience within the last eight years, in the relevant subject.
- Qualified teacher status and a relevant degree.
- High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the ePEN digital marking platform.
