General Assistant – Gym Cleaning (20 hrs/week)

About the role

Everlast Gyms is looking for a reliable General Assistant to join its Cleaning Team. Working 20 hours per week, you will help maintain a spotless, safe environment across all gym areas, ensuring members enjoy a high‑quality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers and communal spaces.
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Empty bins, replace liners and follow waste‑disposal procedures.
• Monitor cleaning‑supply levels and alert management when stock is low.
• Collaborate with the gym team to deliver a seamless member experience.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Consistently uphold Everlast Gyms’ cleanliness and safety standards.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not essential – full training provided.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Good communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with gym opening hours.
