Specialist Hygiene Service Technician – Haydock

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Hygiene Service Technician to join our Haydock team, serving customers across Liverpool, Chester, Wirral and surrounding areas. You will deliver a wide range of hygiene‑related cleaning services, from biohazard and infection control to industrial and high‑level cleaning, while managing your own schedule and providing expert advice on site.

Key responsibilities

• Respond reactively to customer requests on a fast‑paced, on‑call rota.
• Perform biohazard cleaning, flood water damage cleanup, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Carry out technical cleaning tasks such as factory cleans, high‑level work and silo cleaning.
• Provide professional advice and exceptional customer service during each visit.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and on‑call shifts.
• Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces; DBS check may be required.
