General Manager – Ascot Care Home

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead Ascot Grange Care Home, part of Avery Healthcare Group. In this role you will shape the daily experience of residents, ensuring compassionate, person‑centred care while supporting and developing the care team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care in line with regulatory and statutory standards.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Manage the home’s budget, financial performance and resource allocation.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and continuous improvement of care processes.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and external partners.

Required profile

• Minimum four years’ experience in a senior role within a residential care or similar setting.
• Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent.
• Preferably a current NMC registration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive performance and uphold quality standards.
