General Manager – Retirement Village Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead the operational delivery of Roseland Parc Retirement Village, ensuring residents enjoy a best‑in‑class experience while the village runs as a financially sustainable business unit. You will translate strategic objectives into clear operational plans and foster a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the village asset and operational business plans.
• Manage full P&L responsibility, including service charges, landlord budgets, and revenue streams.
• Drive occupancy, sales, and rental performance while maintaining cost discipline.
• Identify risks and opportunities and adapt strategy to ensure strong performance.
• Deliver an exceptional resident experience across all touchpoints.
• Oversee wellbeing programmes, third‑party care providers, and emergency response readiness.
• Lead property and facilities management, including preventative maintenance and refurbishment projects.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing village team, set performance expectations, and build succession plans.

Required profile

• Strong operational leadership experience, preferably in hospitality, retirement living, leisure, or property‑led environments.
• Commercially astute with proven ability to manage complex budgets and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills and a track record of driving performance and community engagement.
