General Manager – Wholesale & B2B Operations

About the role

Based in Blackpool, we are a well‑established B2B and wholesale supplier of office products. We are looking for a hands‑on General Manager to drive day‑to‑day operations, lead a diverse team and ensure our distribution network runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of 20 staff across warehouse, sales and administration.
• Oversee the vehicle fleet for North West deliveries and coordinate third‑party couriers for the rest of the UK.
• Manage warehouse workflows, inventory control and order fulfilment to maximise efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to shorten turnaround times.
• Facilitate communication between sales, admin and warehouse departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience in a B2B, wholesale or distribution setting.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team of 20+ employees.
• Experience handling own‑fleet logistics and third‑party courier coordination.
• Strong computer literacy with practical use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be based in or able to commute reliably to the Blackpool area.
