General Operative – Immediate Start in Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking General Operatives to join Lotus Advanced Structures on an immediate‑start basis. The role supports a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, covering assembly, paint, logistics and material handling as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, fit and prepare component parts and panels using hand or power tools.
• Inspect, rework or prepare components according to documented processes.
• Support daily production output, meeting quality and quantity targets.
• Assist supervisors and team members, covering absences and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Report shortages, defects or process concerns to team leaders.
• Maintain tools, equipment and personal protective equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• Ability to follow written instructions and documented processes.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Physical fitness to lift, stand for long periods and perform manual tasks.
• Reliable, self‑disciplined and enthusiastic attitude.
• Basic English communication skills.

• Pay starting at £12.71 per hour, with overtime at enhanced rates.
