General Practice Nurse

About the role

Join a friendly, supportive primary‑care team at Bartlett Group Practice as a General Practice Nurse. You will run your own clinics and deliver patient‑centred care to the local Surrey community, focusing on chronic disease management, health promotion and treatment‑room services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide treatment‑room services including wound care, cervical screening, immunisations and health‑promotion activities.
• Deliver holistic, evidence‑based wound management, including ABPI measurements, compression therapy and post‑operative wound care.
• Support patients participating in the cervical‑screening programme and promote other screening initiatives.
• Implement public‑health immunisation programmes for children and adults.
• Participate in nursing, clinical‑governance and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Assist and mentor students from various health‑care disciplines.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a genuine interest in long‑term health conditions or willingness to train.
• Motivated, caring and able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Wound care and post‑operative wound management.
• ABPI (Ankle‑Brachial Pressure Index) measurement.
• Compression therapy techniques.
• Cervical screening procedures.
• Immunisation administration for adults and children.
• Health‑promotion and chronic disease management.
