General Practitioner – Digital Healthcare (Remote)

About the role
Boots Online Doctor is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join its Digital Healthcare Team. Working in a hybrid model, you will deliver patient‑centred care through online consultations and support the Duty Doctor service, helping shape the future of digital health in the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence‑based care via video and telephone consultations.
- Undertake Duty Doctor duties, offering timely clinical support to the wider team.
- Assess, prescribe and document in line with national guidance and Boots clinical governance.
- Use the secure digital platform for all patient interactions and clinical records.
- Participate in clinical meetings, training and continuous professional development.
- Contribute to service development and quality‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise.
- GP qualification (CCT or equivalent) and inclusion on the GMC GP Register, ideally 5 years post‑CCT.
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to work autonomously while recognising when to seek support.
- Passion for delivering high‑quality care through innovative digital services.
Required skills
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms.
- Experience using electronic health records.
- Familiarity with Slack, Google Workspace and Chrome.
