General Procurement Buyer

About the role

Join Ferrero as a General Procurement Buyer, responsible for the Indirect category and supporting other General Procurement areas across the UK&I region. You will partner with stakeholders to translate global procurement strategies into local actions, driving value and compliance in a fast‑moving commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing for assigned categories, including market analysis, tender preparation, supplier briefing, negotiation and contract award.
• Manage supplier performance using scorecards, structured reviews and service‑level agreements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure quality, timeliness, flexibility and cost‑efficiency in supplier relationships.
• Support supplier onboarding, purchase order processing, claims resolution and invoice reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with UK Procurement Procedures and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing contracts and running full tender cycles.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to turn insights into sourcing strategies and lead complex projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the capacity to influence globally.
