General Store Manager – Kent

About the role

As the General Store Manager you will be responsible for the overall performance of a large ASDA superstore in Kent. You will lead the planning, strategy and day‑to‑day execution across all key departments, ensuring the store runs efficiently, safely and in full compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Non‑Food, Online and Customer departments.
• Maximise product availability while minimising waste and shrink.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager and department managers to maintain consistent standards and drive productivity.
• Improve delivery flow, stock routines and compliance processes.
• Foster a culture of empowerment, coaching managers and staff to take ownership of results.

• Result‑oriented with a strong focus on execution and accountability.
• Commercially aware of how availability, waste and shrink impact store performance.
• Demonstrated coaching and leadership abilities, able to develop talent and inspire teams.
