Geo-environmental Consultant / NEC 4 Site Supervisor

About the role

Atkins is seeking a dynamic Geo‑environmental Consultant to join its Sustainable Land and Resource Management team in Leeds. The role combines technical expertise in contaminated land with NEC4 site supervision to deliver high‑impact projects across transportation, energy and water sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, supervise and inspect site works, including contractor activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Provide NEC4 site supervision and digital support throughout contaminated land projects.
• Design and interpret site investigations, developing robust conceptual site models.
• Collaborate with contaminated‑land technical leads and multidisciplinary teams to win, deliver and manage project portfolios.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, regulators and sub‑contractors to maintain strong professional relationships.

Required profile

• Motivated environmental professional with experience in geo‑environmental consulting.
• Proven ability to work closely with technical specialists and deliver site‑based solutions.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and client liaison.
