Geography Teacher – Full-time Secondary School

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a secondary school in the E12 area of East London. The position starts in September 2026, is full-time and permanent, with teaching hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver the geography curriculum to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed and updated.
- Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and school initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching geography in a secondary school setting.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management capabilities.
- Safeguarding training completed within the last year.
