Global Head of Client Accounting Transformation

About the role

Clermont, an international fiduciary and family‑office group, is seeking a Global Head of Client Accounting Transformation to steer a major change programme across its UK and offshore teams. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will shape the operating model, modernise workflows and ensure the highest standards of accounting quality while supporting the group’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive review of the client‑accounting operating model across UK and Mauritius.
• Design and deliver a phased transformation programme, including workflow automation and AI‑driven efficiencies.
• Enhance and oversee the outsourced delivery model in both jurisdictions.
• Clear historic backlogs, improve operational effectiveness and build clear ownership and performance metrics.
• Support system migration initiatives and replace manual processes with scalable controls and reporting.
• Act as senior technical reviewer of accounting outputs and provide guidance on complex accounting matters.
• Partner with administrators, client‑facing teams and senior leadership to embed accountability and visibility.
• Serve as the trusted escalation point for delivery risks and complex accounting issues.

Required profile

• Qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Extensive leadership experience in client accounting within fiduciary, trust, private‑client or family‑office environments.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and sound judgement on multi‑entity structures.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, particularly the UK and offshore locations.
