Global Sector Head – Healthcare

About the role

As Sector Head, you will manage a global team of equity research analysts, oversee the production of high‑quality healthcare research, and act as a key thought leader for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor analysts covering the Healthcare sector, set coverage priorities and ensure consistent, high‑quality output.
• Represent CFRA’s fundamental voice on Healthcare, articulate clear investment theses and monitor reporting deadlines.
• Guide the development of financial models, valuation analyses and investment theses, and review industry reports for quality and timeliness.
• Serve as the go‑to source of sector intel for clients, providing timely, actionable insights and building relationships with company management.
• Identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities, and contribute to firm‑wide initiatives and cross‑sector collaboration.

Required profile

• 7+ years of equity research experience with significant exposure to the Healthcare sector.
• Proven experience mentoring or developing junior analysts.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics or related field; CFA designation preferred.
