Global Tax Director

About the role

The Global Tax Director will be based in Bristol and report directly to the CFO of Datamine, a fast‑growing international mining‑technology group. This newly created, green‑field position focuses on delivering commercial value through transfer‑pricing optimisation, tax efficiency and mitigation of global tax leakage across more than 20 jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and improve global transfer‑pricing policies to generate tangible tax savings.
• Identify and implement profit‑allocation opportunities and refine transfer‑pricing models.
• Oversee global tax compliance in partnership with external advisors.
• Build and maintain concise tax reporting dashboards for senior leadership.
• Partner with business leaders on tax strategy, providing commercial insight for M&A, new jurisdictions and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional (ACA, CTA or equivalent).
• Strong background in transfer pricing and working knowledge of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
• Experience in international, multi‑entity environments with advisor support.
• Proven track record of driving tax efficiency and strategic tax initiatives.
• Ability to translate technical tax matters into commercial decision‑making.
