Graduate Building Surveyor – Subsidence Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to specialise in subsidence claims. Working remotely from the South East, you will provide professional surveying services for domestic and commercial insurance claims affected by subsidence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building surveying and subsidence assessments for insurance claims.
• Attend sites to carry out technical investigations and produce detailed reports.
• Manage your own portfolio of claims, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Collaborate with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters, local authorities and contractors to achieve fair and timely resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records in the claims management system.
• Support colleagues across the UK and contribute to shared expertise.

Required profile

• Degree in Building Surveying (BSc Hons) or related field.
• Relevant technical or loss‑adjusting experience is desirable.
• Prior experience managing subsidence projects is a plus.
• Professional membership such as MCIOB or MRICS is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
