Graduate Business Adviser – 9‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded graduate to join a leading global consumer‑goods organisation on a nine‑month fixed‑term basis. You will work in the field, building relationships with independent retailers, supermarkets, petrol stations and regional accounts, helping them maximise product performance and commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own geographical territory and achieve sales and distribution targets.
• Develop and maintain long‑lasting relationships with shop owners and key decision‑makers.
• Advise retailers on product availability, merchandising, category performance and promotional activity.
• Negotiate trading agreements and identify new commercial opportunities.
• Analyse store and market data to uncover growth potential.
• Educate retailers and store teams on product features, promotions and best practices.
• Plan and execute activities that maximise business performance across your territory.

Required profile

• Previous experience in field sales, account management, business development or retail management.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and influencing abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness with confident negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage a territory independently.
• Comfortable using data and insights to drive performance.
• Full UK driving licence.
