Graduate CNC Machinist – Motorsport & Aerospace

About the role

We are seeking a graduate with a degree in Motorsport, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and hands‑on CNC experience to join our fast‑growing manufacturing business in South East London. You will work alongside a tight‑knit workshop team, operating and programming state‑of‑the‑art 5‑axis CNC equipment on a variety of precision projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program 5‑axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Produce precision components for aerospace, defence and robotics sectors.
• Train and mentor junior operatives.
• Collaborate with the team on business strategy and project planning.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and documentation.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Motorsport, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Practical experience with CNC machines.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• 5‑axis CNC milling.
• 5‑axis CNC turning.
• CNC programming.
• Machine setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes.
