Graduate Manufacturing Engineer – 5‑Axis CNC

About the role

This graduate position offers a unique chance to join a fast‑growing manufacturing company that designs and produces precision components for aerospace, defence and robotics. You will receive full industry training while working on a dynamic project portfolio in a newly established UK factory.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and program a range of 5‑axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Work autonomously as a senior machinist within a tight‑knit workshop team.
• Train and mentor junior operatives on CNC processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams on project strategy and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of manufacturing workflows.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with CNC machining, preferably on multi‑axis equipment.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and precision engineering.
• Willingness to work a standard 40‑hour week with occasional overtime.
