Graduate Sales & Business Management Trainee – Renewable Energy

About the role

Join a specialist renewables division of a leading UK electrical distribution group as a Graduate Sales & Business Management Trainee. You will be immersed in the renewable energy market, learning the full product portfolio and gaining commercial experience across B2B sales.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a structured sales training programme covering product knowledge, negotiation and project management.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing B2B customers.
• Identify growth opportunities, generate leads over the phone and support customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate terms and manage projects to successful delivery.
• Progress into a field sales role, meeting customers face‑to‑face and expanding the account base.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a professional presentation.
• Strong commercial awareness and ambition.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proactive, resilient and motivated by success.
• Interest in renewable technologies and sustainable energy solutions.
• Full UK driving licence.
