About the role
We are looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded inclusive school in Chelsea, London, starting in September 2026. The role offers a supportive environment where each child is valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 or small‑group support to pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH.
- Assist the class teacher and SENCO in planning and delivering tailored interventions across the curriculum.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and purposeful learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Track and report on student progress and development.
Required profile
- Graduate with a minimum 2:2 bachelor’s degree, preferably in Psychology, Education or a related field.
- A strong desire to support pupils with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Enthusiastic, compassionate and resilient; prior experience with children is desirable but not essential.
