About the role

Join Airbus' two‑year Global Graduate Programme as a Graduate Structures Test Engineer, working at the state‑of‑the‑art AIRTeC facility in the Bristol area. You will gain hands‑on experience testing innovative materials and aircraft structures while developing both technical and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design test systems ranging from small material coupons to full‑scale aircraft wing tests.
• Apply AI and data‑driven platforms to enhance data analytics and virtual simulation capabilities.
• Develop and deploy advanced measurement, control, and data acquisition techniques.
• Design and commission new cryogenic test facilities for hydrogen‑powered flight.
• Perform hands‑on testing and support test operations, calibration, and execution.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum undergraduate) in Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Data Science, Applied Measurement Science/Metrology, Robotics/Mechatronics, Physics or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Motivation to work collaboratively and drive future innovation.
