About the role
We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding all‑girls school in the heart of London. The role starts in September and offers a full‑time placement supporting Key Stages 3 and 4 students, particularly in Science or Maths.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group academic support to pupils who need extra help.
- Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture and offer emotional support when required.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and use positive reinforcement to maintain focus.
- Follow safeguarding policies to ensure student safety and well‑being.
Required profile
- Graduate degree, preferably with a Science or Maths background.
- Interest in pursuing a school‑based career, potentially leading to teaching.
- Willingness to work in a high‑performing, well‑resourced environment.
