About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a Good‑rated secondary school in Hackney to offer recent graduates a hands‑on classroom experience. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will support teachers across Key Stages 3‑5 during term‑time, gaining insight into the teaching profession before undertaking teacher training.

Key responsibilities

Assist teachers in delivering lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group intervention to support student learning.
Help students stay engaged and make progress across subjects.
Collaborate with teaching and support staff across departments.

Required profile

Degree qualified.
Good GCSE results.
Passion for education and supporting young people.
Right to work in the UK.
Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Two professional references.
