Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Sefton)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic graduates to support a secondary school in Sefton. This full‑time, temporary position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to make a positive impact on young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students facing personal challenges.
- Monitor student well‑being and report concerns to senior staff.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure student safety.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to help lessons run smoothly.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) registered with the online update service.
- At least two professional references covering the last 24 months.
