Graduate Tech Operations Role

About the role

Join Checkout.com’s Graduate Tech Operations program and develop core technical and problem‑solving skills while supporting the payment infrastructure that powers billions of transactions worldwide. You will work alongside senior engineers, security, and application support teams to keep our cloud and on‑premise services running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first responder for alerts, monitoring and incident management across AWS and Cisco environments.
• Own incident resolution, collaborate with senior engineers to fix complex issues and prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to Infrastructure‑as‑Code initiatives using Terraform to automate deployments and responses.
• Work closely with Engineering, Security and Application Support to resolve service‑impacting events.
• Follow and improve ITSM processes, ensuring service delivery meets SLA targets.
• Communicate incident status and updates clearly to stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (by July 2026) or within the last two years with a degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Curious, motivated and eager to learn about digital payments and technical operations.
• Strong troubleshooting ability under pressure and a collaborative, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably AWS (certifications a plus).
• Familiarity with Cisco networking environments.
• Interest in Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
