Graduate/Entry-level FX & International Payments Sales & Business Development

About the role

This graduate position offers the chance to launch a career in finance sales within a fast‑moving fintech environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, receive structured training through the LJRM Academy, and develop expertise in foreign exchange, international payments and related financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and develop new business opportunities from cold call to close.
• Generate and segment leads using LJRM’s data‑driven lead sourcing tool “Sonar”.
• Attend exhibitions, networking events and other prospecting activities as directed.
• Research clients and sectors to identify needs and propose FX, hedging, payment and trade‑finance solutions.
• Present LJRM’s value proposition and arrange meetings with senior colleagues to close deals.
• Maintain market knowledge and keep clients informed of currency movements.
• Collaborate with the account management team to accelerate the hand‑over from sign‑up to first trade.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or entry‑level candidate with strong interest in finance and sales.
• Enthusiastic, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, meritocratic environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to learn macro‑economics, FX, international payments and related products.
