Grinder / Threadmill Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a skilled Grinder / Threadmill Operator to join its UK manufacturing team. You will perform manual machining tasks, operate cylindrical grinders and threadmill equipment, and ensure high‑quality finished goods.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all threadmill machines and future machinery.
• De‑burr screwsets and match idlers and rotors.
• Run cylindrical grinders and small surface grinders.
• Review and update setups, procedures and SOPs.
• Learn and operate various manual machines (drill, mill, broach, etc.) to provide flexibility.
• Perform quality‑inspection of parts against drawings and specifications.
• Maintain efficiency records and perform preventative maintenance.
• Carry out safety, housekeeping and EHS activities, including risk assessments.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and training initiatives.
• Support other areas of the plant as required.

Required profile

• Qualified in material removal techniques such as turning, cylindrical grinding and milling.
• Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent experience in manufacturing, NC/HMC level preferred.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing drawings and processes.
• Strong numeracy and mathematical skills.
• Ability to operate manual machinery, including jib cranes.
• Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.
