Ground Turf Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Small Agricultural/Plant Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves travelling across the North Yorkshire area and working from a site‑based workshop to deliver planned and reactive maintenance on specialised ground‑turf machinery. The base salary is £36,000 with realistic OTE around £40,000, plus travel and expense reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across North Yorkshire to perform maintenance tasks.
• Carry out planned and reactive servicing of highly technical ground‑turf equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
• Work overtime as required to meet service commitments.
• Utilise a company vehicle for site visits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agriculture or plant engineering.
• Hands‑on electrical and mechanical fault‑finding ability.
• Engineering qualification (light or heavy vehicle preferred).
• Previous work in a similar environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly to different sites.
