Group Exercise Instructor

About the role

David Lloyd Clubs is seeking enthusiastic Group Exercise Instructors to deliver a diverse range of fitness classes at our Cheltenham location. You will lead both core classes such as Yoga, Reformer, Pilates, Dance and Aqua, as well as our exclusive Signature programmes that blend high‑intensity, cardio, strength and functional training.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and energise group fitness sessions across a variety of formats.
• Adapt workouts to accommodate all fitness levels and abilities while ensuring safety.
• Maintain studio standards, equipment, and hygiene before and after each class.
• Promote member engagement, motivate participants and help them achieve personal goals.
• Collaborate with club management to schedule classes and support club initiatives.

Required profile

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 CIMSPA qualification.
• Registered as self‑employed with a minimum £2 million public liability insurance.
• Passionate about health, fitness and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication skills, self‑driven attitude and a positive outlook.
