Group Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with an international creative agency operating across film, TV, VFX, gaming and immersive experiences. The Group Finance Manager will join the finance team in London, reporting to the Financial Controller and will own the month‑end close, group reporting and technical accounting for multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly group reporting and financial close process across all entities.
• Prepare accurate management accounts and consolidated financial statements.
• Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary for senior leadership.
• Manage inter‑company accounting, reconciliations and balance‑sheet reviews.
• Support statutory reporting, audit and tax compliance.
• Oversee accounting for intangible assets and capitalised project costs.
• Drive finance systems improvements, including NetSuite optimisation.
• Assist with wider finance transformation and group projects.

Required profile

• ACA qualified (Big 4 background highly desirable) or ACCA with strong financial reporting experience.
• Proven experience in a Group Accountant, Financial Accountant, Financial Reporting or Group Finance role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP and multi‑entity reporting.
• Experience in media, entertainment, film, TV, gaming or other project‑led businesses is a plus.
