Group Legal Counsel

About the role

We are a leading independent telecommunications infrastructure company operating an extensive tower portfolio across Africa and the Middle East. We are seeking a Group Legal Counsel based in London to provide commercial legal support and help drive our growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Legal team on a wide range of commercial legal matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate customer, supplier and commercial agreements.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk, contractual obligations and commercial considerations.
• Assist with strategic initiatives including financing transactions, M&A activities and business development projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver commercially focused legal solutions.
• Manage legal documentation and ensure contractual compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support implementation and maintenance of legal governance processes and standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Training experience from a leading international law firm or in‑house legal environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced setting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• LLB (or equivalent) from an internationally recognised university and completion of LPC or SQE.
