Guest Service Team Member

About the role

As a Guest Service Team Member you will be the first point of contact for hotel guests, ensuring smooth registration, comfortable stays and efficient departures. You will work in a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting guests throughout their visit and collaborating with all hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest check‑in and check‑out procedures, maintaining accurate guest accounts.
• Answer incoming calls professionally, providing information and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
• Apply strict security procedures for credit‑card transactions, room‑key issuance and guest confidentiality.
• Maintain communication channels between guests and hotel services, both verbally and in writing.
• Operate the switchboard, record charges for international and operator‑assisted calls, and keep an up‑to‑date internal phone list.
• Promote hotel facilities and upsell services using product knowledge.
• Assist the Food & Beverage team with breakfast and bar service coordination.

Required profile

• Professional and courteous demeanor with a focus on total customer satisfaction.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information securely.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Switchboard operation and call handling.
• Credit‑card transaction processing.
• Guest account and reservation system management.
• Knowledge of hotel security and confidentiality procedures.
