Handyman – Property Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Handyman to join our Maintenance Department and keep our residential properties safe, clean, and ready for new occupants. The role involves travelling across Greater London to perform a variety of repair and preparation tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting, touch‑ups and decorating.
• Deep clean vacant units, including kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas.
• Deliver, assemble and install furniture and white goods.
• Change or repair locks as required.
• Carry out basic repairs such as fixing doors, handles, tiling, minor carpentry and plumbing.
• Prepare vacated units for re‑letting, including waste removal and tagging tenant belongings.
• Assist the rubbish collection team with waste sorting and disposal when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a handyman or property maintenance role.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Physically fit and able to lift, use ladders and perform manual labour.
• Good communication skills and respectful attitude towards residents.
• Basic IT competence for reporting work completed.

• £30,000‑£35,000 per year salary.
