Handyperson – Multi‑skill Tradesperson (Kent)

About the role

Randstad is seeking an experienced, versatile Handyperson to support commercial and residential projects across Kent. You will work independently on a variety of tasks, ensuring each job is completed to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Touch‑up painting, surface preparation, crack filling and plaster patching.
• Basic plumbing tasks such as fixing minor leaks, unblocking sinks and replacing simple fixtures.
• Snagging and finishing work to meet handover quality standards.
• General maintenance including installing blinds, shelves, signage and replacing ceiling tiles.

Required profile

• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Own full set of hand and power tools suitable for multi‑trade work.
• Full PPE: hard hat, high‑visibility vest/jacket and steel‑toe boots.
• Two recent, checkable work references.
• Driving licence and own transport are highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Painting and decorating.
• Plaster patching.
• Basic plumbing and leak repair.
• Sink unblocking.
• Fixture installation (blinds, shelves, signage).
• Ceiling tile replacement.
