Hardware Support Engineer – Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation

About the role

Amazon Robotics is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of packaging and robotics systems across fulfillment centers. You will work hands‑on with customers, troubleshooting hardware issues and contributing to the continuous improvement of our robotic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for new product roll‑outs, upgrades, routine hardware audits and troubleshooting.
• Partner with product development, manufacturing and site‑level reliability, maintenance and engineering (RME) teams to maximise system performance.
• Identify, analyse and resolve mechanical and system issues across packaging and robotics platforms.
• Design and implement electro‑mechanical tools, fixtures and proactive monitoring solutions.
• Develop diagnostic tools, preventative‑maintenance procedures and training content.
• Lead on‑site training sessions for RME teams and manage spare‑parts processes.
• Conduct safety, ergonomic and risk assessments and produce regular performance reports.
• Provide “voice of the customer” feedback to development and support teams.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to fulfil on‑site duties.
