Head of Applications

About the role

Corndel is seeking a Head of Applications to own and optimise its core business applications. Working across the organisation, you will shape processes, improve user experience and ensure the technology stack delivers maximum value.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and optimise core applications, designing workflows that reduce friction for users.
• Act as the primary point of contact for application queries, delivering rapid and effective support.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, guidance and training materials.
• Gather business requirements, translate them into system changes, and support the rollout of new products and processes.
• Facilitate communication, training and adoption of best practices during change initiatives.
• Manage integrations between applications using APIs, automation tools and low‑/no‑code platforms.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical specialists to ensure enhancements follow strong governance and are well documented.

Required profile

• Proven experience solving complex business problems with technology solutions.
• Strong relationship‑building skills across multiple departments.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable, practical application designs.
• Leadership mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
