Head of Architecture & Engineering

About the role

The organisation is seeking a senior technology leader to steer its architecture and engineering function for a 12‑month fixed‑term period. You will shape the overall architecture strategy, supervise engineering and data capabilities, and champion enterprise‑wide technology initiatives across a complex application and cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a cohesive architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
• Oversee engineering and data teams to ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and well‑governed solutions.
• Drive large‑scale transformation projects and technology governance initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to align technology road‑maps with organisational objectives.
• Maintain oversight of cloud platforms, integrations, and enterprise applications.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in Architecture, Engineering or broader Technology functions.
• Strong expertise in enterprise and solution architecture.
• Demonstrated success delivering technology strategy, governance and large‑scale transformation.
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, system integrations, data engineering and enterprise applications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
