Head of Engineering Platforms, Architecture & Engineering Excellence

About the role

Lead the engineering platform, architecture and engineering excellence strategy for the Risk Finance and Treasury (RFT) division, owning tooling, standards and operating models that enable secure, resilient and efficient software delivery at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Own the RFT engineering platform strategy and roadmap, aligned to enterprise technology direction.
• Scale adoption of standardized SDLC, CI/CD, deployment, security and developer tooling.
• Drive engineering productivity through simplification, automation and AI‑assisted development.
• Lead architecture governance, engineering standards and technical roadmaps across RFT.
• Partner with CIOs, CTO, Security, Infrastructure and Architecture leadership on technology strategy and adoption.

• Experience setting ambitious engineering standards and linking strategy to business priorities.
• Strong risk and control management mindset while enabling responsible innovation.
