Head of Finance – Hybrid – Exeter

About the role

The Head of Finance will join a fast‑growing holiday and leisure business that is redefining modern hospitality. Based in Exeter with a hybrid working model, the role sits on the senior leadership team and influences the company’s expansion, acquisition and sustainability agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts and overall financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management processes.
• Develop financial models to support growth, investment and acquisition decisions.
• Support acquisition activity, business cases and evaluate investment opportunities.
• Provide commercial analysis and strategic insight to senior leadership.
• Design, implement and improve finance processes, systems and internal controls.
• Manage external relationships with auditors, advisors and funding partners.
• Contribute to ESG, sustainability and impact reporting initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance and reporting functions.

Required profile

• Experienced finance leader who thrives in high‑growth environments.
• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Current or recent experience at Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Finance Director level.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Commitment to sustainability and innovative business models.
