Head of Finance Operations (FinOps) – Lead Finance Transformation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance Operations (FinOps) to lead and modernise our end‑to‑end finance operations function. This senior leadership position will oversee high‑volume transactional finance activities while driving operational excellence, automation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Transaction Processing.
• Develop a high‑performing, customer‑focused finance function with clear KPIs, SLAs and accountability.
• Design and implement a scalable operating model to support multi‑site healthcare growth.
• Partner with FP&A, Commercial Finance, HR, Procurement and operational teams.
• Review, redesign and optimise finance processes for efficiency, accuracy and control.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Identify and implement AI‑enabled solutions and automation for repetitive finance tasks.
• Act as the finance operations lead for NetSuite optimisation, process improvements and user adoption.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in finance operations or shared‑services environments.
• Strong track record of process transformation, automation and technology adoption.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in a multi‑site, regulated industry such as healthcare is a plus.
