Head of Financial Planning

About the role

Fram Search is partnering with a high‑calibre independent financial planning firm to recruit a Head of Financial Planning for its Yorkshire office. This senior leadership role will shape the firm’s strategic direction, drive commercial performance and ensure an outstanding client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of planners and paraplanners, providing coaching and performance management.
• Maintain and enhance the quality of financial advice delivered to clients.
• Contribute to overall business strategy alongside the senior leadership team.
• Identify and implement process improvements and growth opportunities.
• Represent the advisory function with senior stakeholders and, when appropriate, with clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing adviser teams within a financial planning business.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence strategy.
• Excellent communication and credibility with advisers, senior leaders and clients.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to relocate to Yorkshire if required.
