Head of Legal Services (Interim)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading sustainable waste‑management company to find an interim Head of Legal Services. The role starts immediately and will operate as a stand‑alone position, supporting the business while a permanent appointment is being recruited.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Manage disputes with customers and clients, including litigation and settlement.
• Lead M&A activities, particularly the acquisition of small businesses.
• Oversee property, regulatory compliance, data‑privacy and intellectual‑property matters.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management across the organisation.

Required profile

• Significant in‑house counsel experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to work independently in a senior legal role.
• Readiness to start immediately on an interim basis.
