Head of Marketing Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially‑focused Head of Marketing Operations to lead the day‑to‑day marketing function in Milton Keynes. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the integrated marketing plan, coordinate multi‑channel campaigns and drive high‑quality lead generation that delivers measurable commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual marketing strategy, budget and campaign plan to generate high‑quality sales leads.
• Oversee integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including email, paid digital (PPC) and direct marketing.
• Manage the email marketing programme and sales support templates.
• Lead paid digital advertising, maintain agency relationships and optimise spend.
• Ensure website performance supports lead generation and campaign landing.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights.
• Implement continuous testing and optimisation to improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with brand, sales and technology teams to deliver consistent customer experiences.
• Support development and optimisation of CRM and marketing systems.
• Lead, coach and develop the marketing team.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record of generating leads and driving business growth.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing marketing teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills at senior level.
• Excellent analytical capability with experience interpreting marketing data and metrics.
