Head Of MGA Services

About the role

The Head of MGA Services will lead the operational function that supports Managing General Agents (MGAs) across the business. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this senior leader will shape strategy, drive efficiency and ensure a best‑in‑class client experience for a growing portfolio of MGA partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the MGA Services strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Develop scalable operational frameworks to accelerate market entry and improve efficiency.
• Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding of MGA clients, including underwriting authorities, bordereaux standards, claims protocols and reporting requirements.
• Lead day‑to‑day MGA servicing activities such as delegated authority administration, premium and claims bordereaux processing, policy administration and data quality reporting.
• Ensure delivery against SLAs, KPIs and client expectations.
• Drive adoption of digital platforms, automated bordereaux solutions and API integration; work with technology teams to translate operational needs into system functionality.
• Maintain strong relationships with MGA partners and delegated‑authority stakeholders; lead service reviews and act as escalation point for operational issues.
• Guarantee compliance with delegated‑authority agreements and regulatory requirements; oversee audit readiness and control frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in MGA or insurance operations.
• Strong strategic and operational planning abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Deep understanding of delegated‑authority frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Track record of driving digital transformation and process optimisation.
