Head of New Verticals

About the role

Eucalyptus, the consumer healthcare platform behind Hims & Hers, is looking for a UK Head of New Verticals to lead the launch and early scaling of new health categories. Reporting to the Director of New Verticals, you will line-manage a team of Category Leads and own each vertical from inception through to product-market fit and reaching £XXM+ ARR. The role combines strategy and execution, works closely with country managers and coordinates across PR, comms and supply chain, and involves real autonomy shaping multiple businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and model commercial opportunities for each potential new vertical, aligning investment and plans with the global roadmap
• Build the end-to-end experience with the category lead and set the standards for delivery
• Lead category launches end-to-end, managing a team of Category Leads from early proposition through MVP, market testing and initial scale
• Define success, milestones and go/no-go decisions for each category, using data and patient feedback
• Coordinate global launch readiness with country managers on timing, positioning and operational readiness
• Partner with PR, comms and supply chain so public launches are supported by the right narrative and infrastructure
• Work with Product, Medical, Marketing and Ops to build seamless, clinically high-quality patient journeys
• Own the P&L per vertical, define pricing models and growth levers, and work with S&O leads and the commercial team on sustainable pricing and discounting

Required profile

• Strong commercial and operational track record (5+ years) owning new product or category launches
• Experience in health, D2C or subscription businesses
• People leadership: managing and developing teams
• Cross-functional coordination across product, clinical, marketing and ops teams
• Data-driven, outcome-obsessed approach
• Patient-first mindset, entrepreneurial and structured, strong communicator

Bonus points

• Direct experience in health or preventative care, especially diagnostics, hair loss, menopause and TRT
• International market experience or work with country-level general managers
• PR, comms or supply chain background for consumer launches
• Track record launching and scaling subscription-based health services
