Head of Quality

About the role

The Head of Quality will join the Care Hub Triumvirate leadership team to provide robust governance across mental health and learning disability services in Greater Manchester. This senior position supports the delivery of safe, high‑quality care and contributes to the Trust’s strategic quality agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor quality and governance policies, risk‑management strategies and audit programmes.
• Lead the planning, delivery and review of a comprehensive range of mental health services.
• Participate in the on‑call rota and respond to patient safety escalations.
• Work closely with the Care Hub Associate Director and Clinical Director to ensure effective service delivery within resources.
• Represent the Care Hub at senior internal and external meetings.
• Support teams in understanding and meeting safety, experience and effectiveness standards, including difficult conversations when needed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in quality, governance or risk management within health or social care.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to the Trust’s values and to improving patient outcomes.
