Head of Regulatory Finance Change – Global Banking Group

About the role

This senior position leads the Finance Change team within a global banking group, delivering finance‑change projects and ensuring compliance with UK Prudential and EU regulatory requirements. The role combines strategic oversight, stakeholder management and hands‑on delivery of regulatory initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with RegTech partners and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Control, manage and drive the change development schedule, prioritising activities and allocating developer resources.
• Maintain and update the regulatory roadmap, ensuring architecture supports reporting requirements.
• Liaise closely with support and development teams to deliver priorities and manage project workload.
• Communicate progress to senior management through regular update meetings.
• Oversee design, development, testing and maintenance of business requirements for project delivery.
• Support BAU users across the EMEA region on new and existing functionality.
• Build a strong team through training and development plans for direct reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Prudential Regulation change projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK Prudential and EU regulatory environments.
• Understanding of finance systems, general accounting and business processes.
• Extensive experience of Prudential regulation across EMEA.
• Functional expertise and certification as a business analyst in the banking sector.
