Head of Supply Chain – London – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a senior supply chain leader to join a fast‑growing food manufacturing business in London. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will own the end‑to‑end supply chain, from planning through to customer delivery, driving performance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the supply chain function across planning, materials management and customer supply.
• Own and evolve Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Implement change initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Develop capacity modelling and use data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
• Design robust demand, production and materials planning processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks across the supply base.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing and distribution.
• Create and monitor KPIs, ensuring accountability to performance targets.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in operations, commercial, finance and group functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Senior supply chain leadership experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proven track record of delivering operational improvements and managing change.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at senior executive level.
• Excellent analytical and numerical capability, using data to drive performance.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, coach and upskill high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Expertise in planning, materials management and customer supply.
• Experience with S&OP processes and capacity modelling.
• Knowledge of logistics operations, warehousing and distribution.
